Introduction

This course prepares the student for supervisory capacity.

Target Group

The course is targeted at supervisors, team leaders, facilitators and those aspiring to become supervisors or with supervisory potential.

Course Objectives

It’s objective is to equip the supervisor with the knowledge to carry out his/her function. Distinguish the difference between a supervisor’s work environment and that of his/her management. Exercise control over people and processes., and manage information and problem solving. Organize and train staff, and understand employee appraisal and performance. Explain the processes of communications, and describe effective methods for handling and preventing grievances. Describe the principle of productivity and work measurement

Entry Requirements

There are no formal qualifications for entry onto this course, although a candidate must have basic numeric skills.
